The Mozambican Stock Exchange took part in the Second Banking Youth Conference of Mozambique on November 15 of this year. On the theme "Promoting the Financing of Small and Medium Enterprises".
The event was held at the Cultural Center of the Bank of Mozambique, in Matola, and had the partnership of the Mozambique Stock Exchange, the National Investment Bank (BNI) and the Banco Comercial de Investimentos (BCI), bringing together some 300 young delegates , among which (bankers, politicians, deputies, entrepreneurs and finalists of the Banking Management course).
The main objective of the conference was to discuss financing alternatives for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and the opportunities offered by the public and private sector to Mozambican youth.
The Discussion Panel consisted of the Director of Operations of BVM, Amorim Pery, the PCA of BNI, Tomás Matola, and the Deputy Central Director of Planning and Control of the BCI, Daniela Santos.
During the event, Amorim Pery spoke to the young people present about the financing of the economy and the life cycle of SMEs, the forms of financing via BVM and its advantages, and urged young entrepreneurs to adopt good corporate governance practices in their companies , so that they can develop their businesses in a sustainable way and guarantee access to financing.Photo Events
