On March 10, a delegation from Mozambique Stock Exchange, integrating the members of the Board of Directors and senior technical staff from the various areas of BVM´s intervention, visited the facilities of Cervejas de Moçambique (CDM), a brewery, an invitation addressed by this entity.
The invitation addressed to the Stock Exchange is part of the strategy to publicize Cervejas de Moçambique, which aims to inform the different political, economic and social segments of society - about its business, its challenges and its opportunities.
During the visit, BVM´s delegation had the opportunity to know and have direct contact with all stages and manufacturing processes of the main products soldby CDM, as well as the new products that will soon be sold in Mozambique.
The institutional relationship between the Stock Exchange and Cervejas de Moçambique dates back from the establishment of BVM, more than 15 years ago, and in 2001 it was the first company that had been admitted to listing on the stock market, as a result of the Public Offering of 28 million shares, aimed at workers, shareholders and the general public, in what can be considered as one of the first national empowerment actions through the Capital Market.
