On March 22nd, the Mozambique Stock Exchange (BVM) in partnership with the Confederation of Economic Associations (CTA).
held a workshop in the Indy Village, under the theme "Funding through Capital Markets and Investment Opportunities", aimed at training the members of the CTA and the National Entrepreneurship, in order to disseminate the role of the Stock Exchange on the financial system and in the Mozambican economy.
The Workshop promoted the sharing of experiences with stakeholders in the Capital Market, through testimonies from different entities, namely a listed company, a Stock Trader and a company that is in the process of being listed on the Stock
Exchange ,
in addition to presentations about the Stock Exchange and investment opportunities.
On the same occasion, and preceding the Workshop, BVM and CTA initialed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on projects of common interest in improving the business environment, strengthening the financial system and developing the stock market.
This partnership will privilege the training of entrepreneurs in matters of financing and investment in the Capital Market via the Stock Exchange, in order to raise awareness of the advantages of listing on the stock exchange, the joint organization of lectures and seminars to discuss matters of common interest , as well as in the preparation and dissemination of documents, studies, policies and strategies and in the preparation of working instruments that may contribute to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the two institutions.
