The legal rules that govern the trading of securities on the stock market were approved by Regulation no. 4 / GPCABVM / 2014 of October 17, which repealed the Trading Circular. Fundamentally, it is an instrument that establishes the organization and operation of stock exchange sessions and trading of securities, as well as other aspects related to stock exchange operations, under the terms of the Securities Market Code.

It provides for the modus operandi of the systems in use in the securities trading platform, namely the call and registration systems, and also defines the percentage from which an operation and the calculation of its result are subject to a special session.
